Wappler targets are the mechanism we use to deploy an application. You can have targets for development, staging, production, or anything else that fits your workflow. Wappler targets have a few standard types, like Heroku, Docker and Firebase, but also a custom option which allows you to host just about anywhere.
By hosting, we are typically talking about the web server and application server, but it often also includes the database. In the case of Docker, it is a container allowing you to bundle all this together as a single container.
Here’s a primer on why we have targets in Wappler, and how to set them up.
